Jared and Britney graduate this May. Brittney will attend the University of Nebraska to study Elementary Education on a Presidential Award and cheerleader scholarship. Jared Will attend graduate school to obtain his Masters degree in Psychology. The Basketball Pictures are from his participation at the University of North Texas and the NCAA tournament.

Darrell Thompson Jr. graduated from St Edwards University December, 2006 in Austin, TX majoring in Kinesiology. He is currently working as a Personal Trainer awaiting his attendance to Physical Therapy School for certification.

Established in 1969, Chisholm Park is the city of Hurst's largest park, covering 50 acres. Located in North Hurst at 2200 Norwood Drive, Chisholm Park offers many opportunities for fun. swimming, fishing, or watching the area youth athletic team sports are just a few of the amenities available at Chisholm Park. Chisholm Park has 3 pavilions available for rental to the public. The Ruffin Family Reunion Committee has reserved the Longhorn, and Bluebonnet pavilions for a day of family, fun, games and enjoyment.
Each pavilion comes equipped with 8 picnic tables and a grill.
No Alcoholic beverages will be allowed in park.
Refreshments will be provided by the Ruffin Reunion Committee
